Position Overview:

The Speech Therapist is responsible for delivering high-quality therapeutic services to patients in their homes. This role involves a commitment to compliance with all relevant policies and standards while ensuring the safety and confidentiality of patient information.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct therapy sessions in accordance with established protocols.
  • Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of Protected Health Information (PHI) at all times.
  • Engage in annual training related to the UH Code of Conduct and relevant policies.
  • Travel extensively to patients' residences to provide care.
  • Work a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
Qualifications:
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Therapy program.
  • Current licensure to practice Speech-Language Therapy in the State of Ohio.
  • Preferred experience in home care settings.
  • Focus on adult rehabilitation with occasional pediatric coverage.
