About the Role- The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues alike.
- You will work closely with our Store Management team to achieve sales goals, maintain a high level of product knowledge, and ensure accurate inventory management.
- This is an exciting opportunity to develop your leadership skills, as you will be expected to assist in leading the store team members, observing, coaching, and delegating tasks when necessary.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting every customer, using the F.A.S.T. service model, and engaging in friendly conversation about their projects while serving them at the cutting counter, cash register, and sales floor.
- Process transactions efficiently and accurately at the cutting counter and cash register, maintaining professionalism and precision.
- Assist Store Management in minimizing shrink by ensuring policy and procedure compliance, including cutting counter accuracy, remnants, damages, and inventory management.
- Collaborate with other Team Members or Store Management on projects in a professional manner.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; 1+ years of supervisory experience in a customer-centric environment preferred.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to stand during an entire shift (other than normal break time), continuously walk around all areas of the store, and perform physical requirements listed below.

- Orally communicate with customers and other team members on a consistent basis throughout their shift.

- Push/pull merchandise with appropriate equipment (carts, bins, etc.) to and from backroom and sales floor.
- Lift, place, and arrange items on shelves and racks.
- Bend down and reach above head.
- Climb and descend ladder.
- Individually lift up to 49 pounds, and group lift up to 97 pounds.
$15-$20 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
