Work Schedule: Monday to Friday / Onsite

Position Overview: We are in search of an Environmental Engineer with a background in environmental consultancy, sample collection, and compliance oversight.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience within an environmental consulting organization.
  • Knowledge of Florida's environmental regulations.
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License.

Desirable Skills:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Understanding of Miami Dade DERM regulations.
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification and progression towards obtaining a Professional Engineer (PE) License.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct sample collection from both hazardous and non-hazardous locations (including soil, air, and water).
  • Supervise well installations and manage drilling operations.
  • Record construction quality assurance observations to ensure adherence to regulations.
  • Perform quality control reviews on plans, designs, and calculations prior to submission.
  • Prepare and submit permit applications.
