Job Summary

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to work in our Pediatric Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric emergency care and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care to children and families in the Pediatric Emergency Department
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans to meet patient needs
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse experience in the acute care setting
  • Strongly prefer 2 years plus of Behavioral Health and/or Pediatric ED experience
  • BSN from an accredited school of nursing
  • Must be RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
  • Proficient in English. Strong verbal and written communication skills
