About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team at Heartland Dental and Supported Offices. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental professionals in delivering the highest quality dental services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist dentists and hygienists with patient care, ensuring a comfortable and safe experience for all patients.
  • Prepare and maintain dental equipment, instruments, and supplies, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
  • Take and develop dental radiographs, ensuring accurate and high-quality images.
  • Provide patient education and support, promoting oral health and wellness.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient flow and efficient treatment.
Requirements
  • Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
  • Experience working in a patient- or customer-centered environment.
  • Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification (if required under the state dental practice act).
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Dentrix or other dental software experience.
  • Dental assisting school certification.
