THERAPY 2000, a provider specializing in home-based pediatric Speech, Occupational, and Physical Therapy services, is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to support families in the Sharpstown/Braeburn regions.

This role can be structured as Full-Time, Part-Time, or PRN and is part of our South Houston division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough Speech Therapy assessments utilizing standardized evaluations to identify patient therapy needs.
  • Employ clinical expertise to create and execute appropriate treatment plans in accordance with physician directives.
  • Collaborate with caregivers to develop home exercise programs tailored to individual patient requirements.
  • Serve as an integral member of the patient's healthcare team, ensuring effective communication and coordination among various healthcare providers.
  • Fulfill a minimum weekly patient visit requirement as mandated by the agency.
  • Adhere to deadlines for patient documentation, including chart updates, progress reports, and call logs.
  • Engage with agency staff as needed to ensure clarity on expectations and standards for delivering exceptional patient care.
  • Execute all responsibilities in alignment with agency policies and procedures.
  • Comply with all relevant regulations, ethical guidelines, and laws governing pediatric speech language pathology in home health settings.

Qualifications:

  • Active and valid license to practice Speech Language Pathology in Texas.
  • A proactive mindset paired with a proven track record of dependability.
  • Adaptability to adjust resources and priorities in response to business needs.
  • Proficiency in using standard workplace technology (laptop, phone, email, web browser).

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Over 3 years of experience as a pediatric Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Experience in a home health environment.
  • Certifications or experience in specialized areas such as feeding therapy (VitalStim, SOFFI, SOS, etc.).
  • Bilingual capabilities (English/Spanish).
