Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Singing River Health System Hospital. As a key member of our Inpatient Rehab department, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide skilled technical nursing care to patients according to predefined standards and a plan of care established by a Nurse Practitioner or Physician.
- Assume other duties as assigned, including participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to a positive work environment.
- Utilize the MS Nurse Practice Act, the CDC Guidelines for Infection Control, and Singing River Health System Departments of Nursing Plan for Provision of Care, Treatment and Services to ensure delivery of evidence-based care.
- Graduate from an approved school of practical nursing.
- Current Mississippi State licensure.
- BCLS certification required.
- Appropriate nursing practice/experience within the past three (3) years.
This role requires regular requirements to move about the office, move about the facility, and to travel to another facility within the SRHS service area. The ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body, is also required. Additionally, the ability to perceive the nature of sound at normal speaking levels and to make fine discriminations in sound is necessary.
