Key Responsibilities of a Facility Cleaning Specialist:

  • Ensure all floor surfaces are properly maintained through sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
  • Adhere to established protocols for using chemical cleaners and power equipment to protect floors and other surfaces.
  • Oversee the cleanliness and upkeep of restrooms, fitting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
  • Manage waste disposal by emptying trash receptacles and utilizing compactors for specific materials.
  • Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with appropriate cleaning agents and tools.
  • Perform spot cleaning on carpets and assist with carpet extraction and shampooing tasks.
  • Restock paper products and sanitary supplies as needed.
  • Follow the housekeeping schedule diligently.
  • Occasionally operate heavy cleaning machinery, including floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers.
  • Execute additional tasks as assigned based on operational requirements or client needs.

Qualifications for Success:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Demonstrated reliability and dependability.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Ability to pass a drug test when required.
  • Previous cleaning experience is advantageous.
