The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our residents at Midland Opco LLC. As a skilled care specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering nursing care, supervising clinical staff, and ensuring the overall well-being of our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and Provide Nursing Care: Develop and implement individualized care plans, administer medications, and perform treatments as needed.
- Supervise and Direct Clinical Staff: Assign tasks, provide guidance, and evaluate the performance of junior staff members and CNAs.
- Ensure Resident Safety and Comfort: Monitor and report any changes in resident condition, ensure a clean and safe environment, and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
- Participate in Orientation and Training: Assist in the onboarding process for new staff members and participate in ongoing education and training programs.
- Education and Licensure: Graduate of an accredited LPN/LVN school of nursing and valid LPN/LVN license in the state employed.
- Experience: One year of experience in nursing, preferably in a long-term care setting.
- Skills and Abilities: Strong communication and leadership skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
- Competitive Compensation: Starting wages at $31.20-$42.42 per hour, with opportunities for advancement and professional growth.
