ABOUT FOOD & BEVERAGE

The Food & Beverage team plays a crucial role in ensuring our guests enjoy a consistent and delightful experience. This team is responsible for maintaining product freshness, stock availability, and accurate pricing on the sales floor. They excel in operations, process efficiency, and lead all food service activities, including inventory management, food safety, and promotional displays.

As a Starbucks Barista, you will gain:

Typical Responsibilities:

• Deliver outstanding guest experiences by preparing quality beverages and food, prioritizing guest needs.
• Maintain adherence to Food and Beverage Standards and Starbucks brand expectations.
• Execute food and beverage operations, including deliveries, stock management, and cleanliness.
• Stay informed about promotional activities within Starbucks.
• Ensure a welcoming dining environment for guests.
• Engage with guests to exceed their expectations.
• Produce items according to specifications and maintain cleanliness in the workspace.
• Monitor temperature-sensitive food items as per best practices.
• Follow proper packaging and labeling protocols for food products.
• Identify and manage damaged or expired items appropriately.
• Ensure accurate inventory management through proper procedures.
• Provide a warm greeting to all guests.
• Observe guest needs and tailor interactions accordingly.
• Be knowledgeable about store offerings to assist guests effectively.
• Express gratitude to guests for choosing to shop with us.
• Complete all required training programs.
• Promote a culture of safety and compliance.
• Support guest services as needed while adhering to compliance standards.
• Perform additional duties as required by business needs.
