About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Director to lead our cloud solutions team in Chicago, IL. As a key member of our sales leadership team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing a team of sales representatives, and developing strategic relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and Manage a Regional Team: You will oversee a team of sales representatives responsible for a portfolio of professional, managed, and resell services in the public cloud space.
  2. Cultivate Client Relationships: Assist Business Development Managers in understanding clients' pain points, business models, and desired outcomes, and be dedicated to exceeding their expectations.
  3. Drive New Enterprise Sales: Model best practice selling methodologies to help create and close new opportunities, and track and manage team performance and revenue metrics.
  4. Partner with Sales Leadership: Collaborate with Presidio sales leadership to drive sales team enablement and cloud portfolio revenue growth.
  5. Develop Strategic Relationships: Develop deep, strategic senior executive relationships with our customers and partners.
  6. Drive Client Retention: Work with our delivery team on proposal creation and manage customer expectations throughout the sales process.
Requirements
  1. Leadership Experience: 5+ years in a leadership role, with experience leading, coaching, and developing sales teams.
  2. Cloud Expertise: Extensive knowledge of the public cloud market and open source, cloud native technologies, with an understanding of how customers are utilizing those technologies to drive business outcomes.
  3. Sales Experience: 8+ years' sales experience, ideally with 2+ years' experience selling consulting services in one or more of the following areas: public cloud, DevOps, application development, and data & analytics.
  4. Presentation and Influencing Skills: Demonstrated ability to present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
