We strive to deliver exceptional patient care by maintaining a highly skilled team of dental specialists. As an Oral Surgery Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic.
Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Support the dentist in clinical and administrative duties, including preparation of patients for procedures, instrument sterilization, and laboratory tasks.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of patient records and treatment plans.
- Prepare and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless execution of procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients to ensure their comfort and understanding.
- Certification as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgical Assistant (preferred) or equivalent experience.
- Dental assistant certification where required.
- X-ray/Radiography certification.
- Nitrous oxide certification (optional).
- Annual OSHA, HIPAA, BLS, and infection control training.
- Experience with dental software.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of Oral Surgery assisting experience (preferred).
We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $70,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
