Job Title: Store Environment Team Member

Description: We are seeking a hardworking and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Store Environment Team Member at Michaels Stores. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness and appearance of the store, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to a positive and inclusive work environment.

Main Responsibilities:
1. Maintain a high standard of store cleanliness and recovery standards, ensuring that the store looks its best at all times.
2. Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and helping customers find what they need.
3. Collect and dispose of trash, dust and damp mop floors, and perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
4. Move equipment and products for proper cleaning and ensure they are placed back in their correct locations.
5. Clean assigned areas using assigned materials and equipment, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
6. Deep clean key areas of the store, including bathrooms, breakrooms, entry ways, and other high-traffic areas, to maintain a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.

Key Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* Previous retail and/or cleaning experience preferred
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
