Senior Fleet Maintenance Technician

Sysco is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Fleet Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Preventive Maintenance: Perform regular inspections and maintenance on vehicles and equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
- Repair and Diagnosis: Diagnose and repair complex issues with vehicles and equipment, including electrical and mechanical systems.
- Quality Control: Ensure all work meets high standards of quality and safety.
- Training and Development: Mentor and train junior technicians to develop their skills and knowledge.
- Supervision: Provide guidance and support to junior technicians and assist with supervisory duties as needed.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; 2-year degree or certification in a related field preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in fleet maintenance and repair, with a focus on heavy duty trucks.
- Certifications: ASE certifications in automotive and medium/heavy duty trucks; EPA section 608 and 609 certifications.
- Skills: Expert knowledge of vehicle systems and components; excellent diagnostic and repair skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The Senior Fleet Maintenance Technician will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on safety and efficiency. The position requires the ability to work in a variety of settings, including outdoors and in confined spaces.
