Multilingual Onsite Interpreter for Healthcare Settings

We are seeking a skilled Multilingual Onsite Interpreter for Healthcare Settings in the Louisville, Kentucky area.
About the RoleThis position requires providing consecutive in-person and virtually both by phone and video remote first-person interpretation services to clients. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with diverse individuals.
Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality interpretation services to patients, customers, visitors, health care providers, and clinical employees in various settings.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients, adhering to Propio Language Services' policies and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date on vocabulary and specialized subject matter knowledge required for medical, legal, social services, and other clients.
- Candidates must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or GED equivalent, and possess intermediate-level computer skills.
- Access to reliable transportation is also necessary.
- The selected candidate will need to provide documentation of updated vaccinations, including TB, MMR, Varicella, Hep B (or declination), TDAP, and Seasonal Influenza (Flu) and Covid.
- A successful completion of a drug test and Background Check & Security Screen is required.
- A signed commitment to confidentiality, adherence to ethics, and HIPAA compliance is mandatory.
- 1+ years of interpreting experience would be beneficial.
