Job Title: Special Education Teacher

Job Summary:

CareerStaff Unlimited is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our team in Dixon, CA. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a vital role in helping students with various behavioral and health concerns succeed in a classroom environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities.
  2. Facilitate collaborative special education meetings and communicate effectively with parents and guardians.
  3. Use assistive technology and supplemental curriculum to ensure accommodations and modifications for students with disabilities.
  4. Modify and adapt Stride K12 lessons and assessments to meet the needs of students with IEPs.
  5. Ensure inclusion and success of students in the general education classroom.
  6. Collect and analyze data to monitor student progress and make data-driven decisions.
  7. Document all contact with parents and interventions with students.
  8. Provide rich and engaging learning experiences for students, including synchronous and asynchronous instruction.
  9. Commit to personalizing learning for all students and demonstrating a belief in their ability to succeed.

Requirements:

  1. Current WA Special Education Teaching Certificate.
  2. Experience teaching Special Education is preferred.
  3. Fingerprinting/Background completed with OSPI.
