The Senior Developer specializing in Microservices will be instrumental in architecting, constructing, and enhancing scalable and effective microservices. The individual will engage in the complete lifecycle of the service, from initial conception and design to deployment and ongoing operation.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Architecture and Development: Architect, develop, and deploy microservices utilizing industry-standard protocols and technologies. Ensure that microservices maintain loose coupling and can scale independently.
  • Code Quality Assurance: Produce clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Adopt continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) methodologies.
  • Performance Enhancement: Evaluate and enhance the performance of backend services. Ensure optimal performance through proactive monitoring and effective caching strategies.
  • Team Collaboration: Work alongside front-end developers and other team members to set objectives and design cohesive, functional code that improves user experience.
  • Issue Resolution: Detect, troubleshoot, and rectify issues within existing microservices. Suggest and implement improvements to enhance system reliability and performance.
  • Data Integration: Integrate various data storage solutions, including databases, key-value stores, and blob storage.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of the development process, architecture, and standard components.
  • Mentorship: Offer technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and other team members.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in software development with a concentration on microservices.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, or .NET.
  • Experience with microservices frameworks and tools like Spring Boot, Django, or Flask.
  • Solid grasp of containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their service-oriented offerings.
  • Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
  • Able to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and problem-solving capabilities.
