About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team at LeFrak Organization in Jersey City, NJ.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will assist with managing and coordinating construction-related projects for a mix of multi-family residential and retail properties. This role involves tracking and managing project scheduling, reviewing blueprints and drawings, and ensuring the successful negotiation and pricing of construction materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Assist with managing all aspects of construction projects, including reviewing blueprints and drawings, tracking project schedules, and requesting estimates.
  • Scheduling: Manage project scheduling, ensure timely completion of tasks, and coordinate with contractors and vendors.
  • Communication: Facilitate effective communication among stakeholders, including consultants, contractors, and clients.
  • Administrative Duties: Perform administrative tasks, such as preparing reports, meeting minutes, and maintaining records.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., construction management, architecture, engineering).
  • 0-2 years of experience in construction project coordination or a related field.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and blueprints.
  • Proactive attitude, flexibility, and quick adaptation to different issues and circumstances.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CAD drawing software.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits, including health insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
