Key Responsibilities- Work one-on-one with residents to teach independent living skills and programs.
- Assist residents in increasing their social support network of relatives, friends, and volunteer organizations.
- Collaborate with Community Support Treatment Workers and staff to support the progress of our clients.
- Provide support as needed in times of crisis and help consumers maintain stability; access additional support in crisis intervention as appropriate.
- High School diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
- 1 year of experience working with clients in a recovery capacity preferred.
- Experience with trauma-informed care, motivational support, stage-wise treatment, substance use, and crisis de-escalation highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to the needs of others and treat residents with respect.
- Able to lift 40 pounds.
- Able to ascend/descend stairs.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently to perform duties.
- Able to reach, kneel, bend, and twist at the waist, bend at knees, walk, crouch, see, hear, touch, grasp objects, push, pull, and sit.
- Noise level in work environment is usually moderate.
