Position Overview

WMS SUPPORT ENGINEER

As a key player in our operations, you will guide and collaborate with various support teams ranging from Level 1 to Level 3 for Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Your role will involve providing technical assistance and resolution strategies to enhance our Distribution Center (DC) operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to address support issues and implement upgrades.
  • Perform initial triage of issues and escalate them as necessary.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues in real-time.
  • Conduct thorough root cause analyses for bugs and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Document and monitor incident trends to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Create and maintain knowledge articles for ongoing reference.
  • Support the rollout of new features and provide hypercare during transitions.
  • Work flexible hours, particularly during Second Shift (3 pm - 11 pm EST).

Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of supply chain logistics and distribution, ideally within the healthcare sector.
  • Strong technical expertise in Blue Yonder WMS.
  • Skilled in evaluating WMS Trace files.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Blue Yonder WMS development, including MOCA commands, Integrator, Reports, and Labels.
  • Experience in functional configuration, policy management, job maintenance, and interface event management.
  • At least 2 years of production support experience.
  • Proficient in Linux OS, command line operations, and Oracle Databases/SQL.
  • Familiarity with incident management, change management, and Jira tools.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or Engineering Science, at the associate level or higher.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Experience with WES/WCS automation integration is a plus.
