We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at HCA South Atlantic Division. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Job Summary:The Registered Nurse will be responsible for coordinating and delivering patient-centered care in accordance with established nursing models and standards of practice. This includes assessing patient condition, performing procedures, monitoring patient response, and documenting care in the patient medical record.
Responsibilities:- Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
- Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers.
- Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
- Administer prescribed medications, monitor patient response, and notify providers as needed.
- Teach patients, families, and caregivers about patient medical condition, treatment plan, medications, and follow-up measures.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 1 year of employment.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State.
