We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager to join our team at Carters. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for upholding the company's mission, vision, and values to support a high-performing team that consistently delivers top-end results.
Key Responsibilities- Communicate effectively with the team, management, and associates to drive financial results and maintain exceptional store standards.
- Assist in hiring and recruiting to ensure open positions are filled in a timely manner.
- Offer consistent, in-the-moment feedback to store team members to increase employee engagement.
- Recognize and reward exceptional performance to drive results.
- Partner with the Store Manager to address performance concerns of associates.
- Maintain a neat, clean, and organized store environment.
- Meet and demonstrate exceptional customer service behaviors and maintain high standards throughout the store.
- Lead and execute an assigned Division of Responsibility (DOR) through planning and detailed follow-through.
- Perform Leader on Duty responsibilities by driving results and responding to customer concerns in a timely and effective manner.
- High school degree or GED minimum requirement, Associates degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 1 year in retail store management.
- Demonstrated customer engagement skills.
- Demonstrated strong listening, written, and oral communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
- Basic computer skills.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
