  • Collaboration and Compliance: Collaborate with internal departments and comply with regulatory standards.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or related field with RHIA required; CCS/CDIP preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years in ICD-10 coding, 3 years in coding consulting or DRG auditing, and 4 years in hospital coding supervision required.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Coding Knowledge: Knowledge of ICD, CPT, DRGs, APCs, and medical terminology.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in statistical data analysis and electronic health records.
  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills.
