About the Role

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with product teams to determine user requirements and drive the development of Windows updates
  • Apply metrics to drive the quality and stability of code, as well as appropriate coding patterns and best practices
  • Review code to ensure it meets Microsoft's quality standards and is reliable and accurate
  • Communicate across teams and resolve conflicts between teams
  • Independently create a clear and articulated plan for testing and assuring quality of solutions
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
  • 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • Problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills
  • System design and development skills along with coding skills in C/C++/C#
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks competently
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience
  • AI/ML solution development experience
