Status:Non-Exempt, Part-time
Job Summary:This position provides support to the clinical function of the operation and administers exceptional patient care in the field setting within the scope of established state, county, and organizational guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide clinical and administrative support for providers, patients, businesses, and office operations
- Obtain vital signs, record medical history, and perform COVID-19 swab testing for adult and pediatric patients
- Monitor evacuees at designated evacuation sites and draw blood as needed
- Perform laboratory work, injections, and vaccines, and administer medications as directed by physician standing orders
- Comply with legal regulations to maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment for employees and patients
- Monitor supplies and place inventory orders, and practice common safety precautions
- Assist with referrals and prior authorizations, and maintain medical records
- Oversee laboratory coding for insurance purposes and maintain all laboratory logs and required checks
- Communicate needs with nurse manager and adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- California Drivers License
- Current, unrestricted license to practice as a vocational nurse in the state of California
- CPR certification
- EKG certification (Optional)
- Phlebotomy certification (Optional)
- NCT certification highly preferred (Optional)
