Essex Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare is seeking a skilled LPN Unit Manager to lead our team in Elizabethtown, NY. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our 100-bed rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining the highest standards of care for our residents. Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising and mentoring less experienced nurses to ensure high-quality patient care
• Collaborating with upper-level management to develop and implement policies and procedures
• Conducting regular quality assurance reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
• Providing clinical guidance and support to nursing staff to enhance patient outcomes
• Addressing resident and family concerns in a professional and empathetic manner

Requirements for this role include:

• A valid state LPN license
• 3+ years of long-term care experience, with a preference for supervisory experience
• Strong computer skills and excellent communication abilities
