Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

Health Advocates Network is seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia, and asthma.
  • Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and other respiratory treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust treatments as needed.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an American Medical Association (AMA) approved Respiratory Care program.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a hospital setting.
  • Current National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) licensure in applicable state (AZ).
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
  • Additional certifications may be required.
