Special Education Teacher Position

Soliant is looking for dedicated Special Education Teachers to work within a school district. This role offers a chance to significantly contribute to the educational journey of students with mild to moderate disabilities across various grade levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee a caseload of students, including 12-15 at the elementary level, 15 at the middle school level, and 15 at the high school level.
  • Design and execute individualized education plans (IEPs) that cater to the unique needs of each student.
  • Work collaboratively with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to foster a nurturing learning atmosphere.
  • Track and document student progress, modifying instructional methods as necessary to achieve educational objectives.
  • Engage in IEP meetings, parent discussions, and other pertinent school events.
  • Deliver direct instruction in both small group settings and inclusive classrooms.
Required Qualifications:
  • Possession of a valid state certification in Special Education.
  • Experience in working with students who have mild to moderate disabilities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Capability to adjust teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles.
  • Dedication to promoting an inclusive and supportive educational environment.
