Position Title: Clinical Dietitian - Inpatient and Outpatient Services
Reporting Structure: Reports to the Director of Dining Services
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday with rotating on-call weekends
Role Summary:
We are looking for a full-time Clinical Dietitian to enhance our Nutrition Team at Oaklawn Hospital. This role encompasses responsibilities in both inpatient and outpatient settings, covering various units including medical/surgical, psychiatric, obstetrics, and critical care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive medical nutrition therapy, including assessments, dietary modifications, and patient education.
- Adhere to guidelines set forth in the Company Diet Manual and Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, including federal, state, and accrediting agency requirements.
- Provide training and mentorship to patient services staff and interns as necessary.
- Engage in patient satisfaction initiatives and participate in departmental meetings and quality assurance programs.
Qualifications:
- Registered Dietitian credential from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) is required.
- State licensure as required.
- Preferred: One year of experience in a hospital setting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and electronic medical record systems.
