Medicorp Inc is seeking a highly skilled Medical Oncologist - Hematology Specialist to join our team in Southeastern New Mexico.
About the Role:We are a multi-specialty group with 11 full-time and 4 part-time physicians, with 3 additional physicians signed to join in 2023. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and is committed to excellence in hematology and oncology.
Responsibilities:- Diagnose and provide medical treatment for cancer, solid tumors, and benign and malignant blood disorders.
- Write and administer chemotherapy orders, perform bone marrow biopsies and lumbar punctures, and review smears.
- Refer patients for radiation oncology and surgery services as needed.
- Evaluate oncology emergencies and treatment-related complications, deliver chemo-infusion, and provide consultation services to other healthcare professionals.
- M.D. degree in medicine.
- Completion of a 3-year residency in Internal Medicine.
- Completion of a 3-year fellowship in hematology-oncology.

We offer a robust support staff, with 2 certified medical assistants per MD, and 6-8 OCN & ONS certified infusion nurses on staff. Our call schedule is 1 week in 3 weeks, and the nursing staff is first call for oncology on weekends.
What We Offer:We offer a competitive salary above MGMA, with a lucrative bonus structure. Additional benefits include a sign-on bonus, relocation allowance, 6 paid holidays, 5 weeks PTO, and 1 week for CME. We also offer a CME allowance annually, discounted gym membership, 401K after 1 year with contribution not requiring employee match, health, dental, vision, short-term disability, and employer-paid long-term disability and life insurance policy.
EPIC and Technology:We currently use Practice Partner but plan to implement EPIC by mid-2023.
