Key Responsibilities
- Manage the flow of goods, information, and resources from the point of receipt through to distribution.
- Oversee material procurement, warehousing, and the distribution of raw materials and finished products.
- Control the commercial implications of all logistics activities, including receiving, locating, and dispatching goods.
- Implement an effective inventory control system that meets organizational needs through efficient transportation of materials.
- Analyze contracts, customer specifications, and design changes to plan and execute logistics programs throughout the product lifecycle.
- Coordinate activities among subcontractors, suppliers, production teams, and field service personnel to resolve logistical challenges and ensure commitments are met.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or Operations.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in logistics engineering or management within a manufacturing context.
- At least 2 years of supervisory or management experience.
- Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or World Class Manufacturing methodologies is essential.
- Strong understanding of administrative and tax procedures related to shipments and excellent organizational skills.
