Clinical Psychologist

Job Summary: McLaren Northern Michigan is seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team as a Clinical and Academic Faculty Member. This exciting opportunity combines clinical services with academic teaching within our Family Medicine Rural Track residency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Behavioral Medicine curriculum for Family Medicine Residency following ACGME requirements.
• Provide oversight for well-being programming for Graduate Medical Education.
• Perform clinical duties, including Consultation Liaison inpatient, Integrative Primary Care, Integrative Cancer Care, or Psychotherapy, depending on site need.
• Assist resident physicians with scholarly inquiry projects (research and/or quality improvement).
• Participate in system-wide Academic Behavioral Health activities, including teaching for Clinical Health Psychology Post-Doctoral Fellowship and/or Internship.

Requirements: Two years of experience in teaching in an ACGME residency program and completion of a Health Psychology post-doctoral fellowship are preferred. The selected candidate will require a license to practice Psychology in the state of Michigan.
