Job Overview:

The Oklahoma City County Health Department is seeking a highly skilled Capacity Development Professional to join our team. As a key member of our operations division, this professional will serve as the content expert in teen pregnancy prevention and reproductive health.

This role involves coordinating all training and technical assistance for project partners, including getting to outcomes evidence-based practice curricula, adolescent reproductive health, and working with vulnerable youth populations.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Public Health, Education, or a related field and at least one year of experience in health education. A valid Oklahoma driver's license is also required.

About the Role:

  • Serves as the content expert in teen pregnancy prevention and reproductive health.
  • Coordinates all training and technical assistance for project partners.
  • Develops and maintains contacts between the department and other agencies.
  • Analyzes policy and research.
  • Uses various audio-visual equipment to design, coordinate, and assist in the production of professional materials.
  • Generates documents and reports.

Working Conditions:

This role primarily involves working indoors in a climate-controlled environment. However, there may be occasional standing for extended periods, exposure to glare from computer monitors, and OSHA category: performs tasks that involve no exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues.
