Location: Various locations across North CarolinaDiagnostic Imaging Specialists utilize ultrasound technology to capture diagnostic images of internal organs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients and explain ultrasound procedures in a clear and concise manner.
- Operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality images of internal organs.
- Analyze images and report findings to physicians, ensuring accurate diagnoses.
- Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of ultrasound machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Educate patients on the ultrasound process and address any concerns or questions they may have.
Requirements:
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
- Certification from ARRT or the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
- Strong technical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with the ability to work effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
