Key Responsibilities- Assist physicians and nurses with patient care, including greeting, escorting, and taking vital signs
- Develop and maintain patient education materials, prepare patient equipment, and administer vaccinations
- Phone in prescription refills, chart patient information, and prepare informed consent forms
- Order clinical supplies, clean exam rooms, and maintain instruments
- Fulfill patient access duties, including checking in patients and answering phones
- High School diploma or equivalent and completion of a medical assistant program
- 1-2 years of experience in the medical field, with medical terminology knowledge
- BLS certification upon hire, with Healthcare Provider BLS within 3 months
- Basic computer knowledge and ability to become Registered or Certified Medical Assistant within 18 months
