Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Executive Chef to join our team at Healthcare Services Group. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing culinary expertise and guidance to our operations teams, ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Directors of Operations to establish training priorities for District Managers and accounts.
  • Train account, district, and division leadership teams on culinary hospitality and leadership in the healthcare environment.
  • Provide supplementary training for cooks at the facility level, focusing on cooking techniques, sauces, gravies, baking, braising, sautéing, garnishment, recipe adherence, and food handling.
  • Meet with key culinary employees, account managers, district, and division leaders regularly to coach and provide feedback on culinary performance.
  • Support the development and implementation of training programs and in-services, including coordination with Corporate Training.
  • Participate in the recruiting and orientation of culinary and operational leaders in their area.
  • Implement HCSG policies and procedures in facilities and ensure compliance with HCSG's standards of operation, client contract, and Business Conduct Policy.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or certification in culinary arts or 10+ years of industry experience at an Executive Chef level or higher.
  • Prior experience in culinary education and on-site or healthcare dining service preferred.
  • Strong culinary skills and ability to train a diverse workforce in cooking techniques and hospitality service.
  • Excellent oral/verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with a team and independently.
