About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Endocrinology team at Tandym Group. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients with endocrine disorders.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Physician and staff with the daily coordination of patient care and physician access
  • Function as the liaison between patients, staff, and Physicians and maintain efficient patient flow
  • Collect lab specimens according to departmental guidelines; accurately label specimens
  • Prioritize patient care by implementing Physician orders and nursing procedures
  • Ensure proper preparation for patient visit; prepare pertinent information needed for patient visit
  • Obtain vital signs: BP, temp, pulse, height & weight accurately and completely as required
  • Administer injections according to appropriate protocol; document injections accurately in EHR
  • Provide referrals and/or consult orders appropriately and in a timely manner in the PMS and EHR
  • Perform other duties, as required
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of Nursing experience
  • 3 years of working in an Endocrinology Department
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing
  • NJS Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • BLS certification
  • Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
  • Patient oriented
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Desired Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Experience working with Diabetes
  • Experience with Patient Care Equipment
  • Experience with EHR, Practice Management System and Departmental / Ancillary Systems
