Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist - Vascular Intervention to join our team. Responsibilities
  • Utilize sterile or aseptic technique to scrub in and perform vascular, interventional, and surgical procedures per protocol.
  • Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
  • Ensure patients' safety and comfort during and after exams.
  • Demonstrate understanding of primary purpose of drugs used in IR, indications, contraindications, contrast drug interactions, and major effects.
  • Record and maintain procedural data to include injection data, elapsed fluoroscopic time, and procedural information.
  • Monitor equipment, systems, clean equipment, and effects timely repair.
  • Learn new technical information and skills through attendance of periodic in-service programs and participation in professional affiliation sessions.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology.
  • Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and in good standing.
  • Current state licensure as a Radiology Technologist.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Certification in cardiovascular-interventional radiography or vascular-interventional radiology.
  • Previous experience in a high-volume angiography department.
  • Knowledge of radiologic physics and computerized vascular equipment to safely inject and image human vascular anatomy.
  • Knowledge of vascular anatomy and pathology sufficient to apply to interventional and diagnostic exams.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $ $65,000-$80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
