Job Summary:

The Retail Sales Leader Front End is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, leading by example, and driving sales growth. This role requires a strong understanding of our brand standards, customer needs, and team dynamics. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be expected to make decisions that align with our company values and goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development of a high-performing team by observing in-store interviews and department tours.
  • Build a positive and inclusive store culture by connecting with every teammate and fostering mutual trust and respect.
  • Plan, organize, and control daily operations with the guidance of the Assistant Store Manager, including delegating tasks and ensuring brand standards are met.
  • Strategically leverage teammates to execute daily assignments, game plans, and store events.
  • Assist the store leadership team with general supervision, including opening and closing the store, performing Front End and Cash Office functions, and processing firearms sales.
  • Uphold company merchandising and presentation standards by following established floor sets, signage requirements, and inventory presentation and replenishment standards.
  • Assist with training teammates on company procedures and programs, including onboarding new teammates and cross-training current teammates.
  • Maintain company loss prevention standards and controls in the department.
  • Prioritize coaching and developing oneself and others, providing hands-on coaching and teaching the 'why' behind tasks, plans, and processes.
  • Lead by example to support the vision of the organization and store, helping teammates understand how their responsibilities align with the common purpose and organizational goals.
  • Create an inclusive store environment where everyone feels welcome and safe and is treated with respect.
  • Adhere to established policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications:
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Prior retail sales experience or customer-focused experience preferred.
  • Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 15 to 35 lbs. items repetitively.
  • Ability to work extended periods of time standing or walking.
  • Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with the use of a ladder, aerial lifting device, or platform.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time.

Targeted Pay Range: $20.50. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, location, experience, and position offered. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
