Thomas Jefferson University Hospital (TJUH) is actively seeking a board-certified or eligible anesthesiologist for a full-time faculty role at the Instructor, Assistant, or Associate Professor level.
The Anesthesiology Department at Jefferson is responsible for administering over 50,000 anesthesia procedures annually across various facilities, including the Vickie & Jack Farber Institute for Neuroscience and Jefferson Surgical Center.
This department offers a comprehensive range of anesthesia services, catering to both routine and complex cases across multiple specialties such as cardiac, orthopedic, neurosurgery, gastrointestinal, liver, obstetrical, pediatric, and more.
Ideal candidates should possess a passion for education and will be expected to engage actively in the training of residents and fellows. Opportunities for academic, research, and administrative activities are available. Candidates must hold a valid Pennsylvania medical license. Compensation and academic rank will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
