Anatomic Pathologist for Food Animal Infectious Diseases

We are excited to announce the availability of a tenure-track faculty position in veterinary anatomic pathology at South Dakota State University. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and leading an active research program focused on food animal infectious disease pathogenesis and prevention. You will also provide research opportunities to undergraduate, graduate, and professional students, as well as contribute to the teaching and mentoring of these students.
The successful candidate will have a DVM or VMD degree and advanced graduate training in veterinary pathology or a closely related field. They must also have experience in veterinary diagnostic pathology and food animal pathology, as well as eligibility for or certification by ACVP or ECVP. In addition, they should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills.
We offer a generous compensation package, including a competitive salary range of $160,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. The position is available immediately, and we encourage applications from candidates who are committed to excellence in research, teaching, and service.
