Accounting Instructor

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Part-Time Faculty, Accounting to join our team at Marist College. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate-level accounting courses, including Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Cost Accounting, Intermediate Accounting, and other related courses.

This is a part-time faculty position, teaching a variety of accounting courses to undergraduate students. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Accounting or a related field and a strong teaching background. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver high-quality instruction, assess student learning, and maintain active communication with students.

• Teach undergraduate-level accounting courses, including Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Cost Accounting, Intermediate Accounting, and other related courses.
• Develop and implement course syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments.
• Deliver high-quality instruction, using a combination of on-ground and online methods, with synchronous components.
• Maintain active communication with students, including office hours, email, and online discussion forums.
• Assess student learning, using a variety of assessment methods, including exams, quizzes, and assignments.

• Master's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Strong teaching background, with experience in teaching undergraduate-level accounting courses.
• Ability to develop and implement course syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff.
• Ability to use learning management systems, including Blackboard or similar platforms.
