Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Clear Creek ISD. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in providing speech and language services to students with disabilities, helping them to benefit from special education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and provide speech-language pathology services, including evaluations and therapy sessions, to students with communication disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students, working closely with teachers, parents, and other staff members.
  • Conduct ongoing assessments of student progress, keeping therapy logs and using results to plan and implement therapy.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the general and special education staff to determine present levels of performance and goals for students.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff members, maintaining a professional and cordial relationship.
Requirements
  • Master's degree or higher in speech-language pathology or equivalent from an accredited college or university program.
  • Valid Texas license as a Speech-Language Pathologist granted by the Texas Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology.
  • CCC or TEA certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Minimum of one year supervised clinical speech-language pathology experience.
Working Conditions
