Leidos is looking for an Infrastructure Project Engineer to become a part of the National Airspace System Integration Support Contract (NISC IV) team.


In this position, you will assist the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Eastern Service Area (ESA) in implementing essential power systems within air traffic control facilities.

This role may involve travel up to 25% of the time.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate project timelines utilizing a project planning software to establish schedules for Project Risk Plans (PRPs).
  • Ensure all relevant stakeholders are included in the PRP team.
  • Draft the PRP scope statement and collect pertinent project data for risk assessment.
  • Formulate initial risk and mitigation strategies based on analogous projects.
  • Organize PRP review sessions to enhance risk and mitigation strategies.
  • Conduct site evaluations, produce construction drawings, assist in construction efforts, and oversee project timelines and reporting.

Basic Qualifications:
  • A degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
  • A minimum of four years of experience in the design and construction of commercial or institutional structures, or a Master's degree with two years of relevant experience.
  • Current knowledge of applicable building codes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Capability to obtain and maintain public trust suitability.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in creating and modifying project drawings using AutoCAD.
  • Familiarity with the components of the National Airspace System within an air route traffic control center (ARTCC).

Compensation Information:
Pay Range: $68,000 - $124,550.00


The pay range for this position serves as a general guideline and is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Various factors are considered in extending an offer, including job responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and market data.
