Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Fabricator to join our team in Santa Cruz, California. As a Fabricator, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and production of our electric aircraft.
Key Responsibilities- Design and fabricate aircraft components using various materials, including metals and composites.
- Operate manual and CNC machines to perform milling, turning, and other operations.
- Weld and assemble components using MIG, TIG, and other welding techniques.
- Inspect and test components to ensure quality and safety standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement manufacturing processes.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in fabrication, welding, and manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of print reading, weld symbols, and GD&T.
- Experience with CAD software, such as Fusion 360 or Solidworks.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in aerospace, motorsports, or start-up environments.
- Knowledge of exotic metals, such as titanium and chromoly.
- 3G welding certification or above in MIG or TIG.
- Experience with sheet metal bending and forming.
