Job Description

O.A. Newton is looking for an Assembly Technician to join their team in Harrington, DE. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling and testing machinery, working closely with the engineering team to ensure that all products meet the required standards.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical assembly, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. They will also be able to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and test machinery according to specifications.
  • Perform quality control checks on finished products.
  • Identify and report any defects or issues with machinery or components.
  • Collaborate with engineering team to resolve any technical issues that arise during production.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in mechanical assembly and/or training.
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Estimated Salary Range: $55,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience.
