Staff Physician

As a Staff Physician - Interventional Radiology, you will provide medical care to a diverse range of patients by utilizing minimally invasive image-guided diagnosis and treatment of disease. You will work at various UM/JMH locations, including Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, UHealth Tower Hospital, and satellite centers in Broward county.
Core Job Functions- Interpret interventional radiology imaging studies and perform interventional procedures.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new and innovative interventional procedures.
- Evaluate patients both pre and post intervention.
- Supervise performance of technical personnel.
- Evaluate and consult new referrals and follow up patients in IR clinic.
- Exercise quality assurance as related to the practice of interventional imaging.
- Provide interventional imaging consultation as requested.
- Provide emergency patient care as required in the setting of an Interventional radiology practice.
- Be part of the on-call schedule in Interventional Radiology.
- Assume administrative responsibilities as assigned by the Chairman related to the practice of interventional imaging.
- Medical Degree from an accredited Medical School (or foreign equivalent).
- Florida Medical License or equivalent.
- American Board of Radiology Certification.
- Completion of an ACGME approved Fellowship Program in Vascular Interventional.
