The estimated salary for this role ranges from $20.00 to $40.50 per hour, with opportunities for advancement based on experience and skillset. Candidates with VTS credentialing may be eligible for compensation commensurate with their level of expertise.

Job Description

">

As an Emergency Veterinary Technician at BluePearl Pet Hospital, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to critically ill or injured patients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • ">
  • Inducing, monitoring, and recovering anesthesia in patients using proper technique and equipment.">
  • Triage emergency cases, obtaining vitals, and alerting veterinarians to changes and issues.">
  • Performing digital radiography and understanding normal patient vital signs, including heart rate, respiratory rate, temperature, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation.">
  • Calculating medical math and administering medications via appropriate routes and duration.">
  • Mentoring and training other coworkers while maintaining patience and empathy when addressing client concerns.">
