Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Imaging Equipment Specialist to join our team at Trinity Health. As a key member of our Clinical Engineering department, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of high-level diagnostic and therapeutic imaging equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform on-going Planned Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) of imaging equipment, ensuring timely and quality repairs.
  • Assist in the planning and installation of diagnostic and therapeutic imaging equipment, collaborating with vendors and users as needed.
  • Order parts and supplies within established departmental guidelines, recommending radiology-related test equipment and spare parts to the CE Manager.
  • Coordinate repairs with vendors and users, ensuring follow-up paperwork and verification of issue resolution.
  • Attend training sessions on imaging equipment maintenance and technology, staying up-to-date on technological and medical equipment advances.
  • Conduct in-service training sessions for radiology clinical/professional staff on proper use and safety of advanced radiology equipment.
  • Provide on-call service coverage after normal business hours, rotating with other team members.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction, as demonstrated by customer satisfaction surveys.
  • Participate in teamwork by keeping others informed, initiating group decision-making, and working to accomplish team objectives and projects.
