Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Chase Staffing in Greenville, SC. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our buildings, ensuring they are safe and operational at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems, including filter changes and troubleshooting.
  • Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance on agency vehicles, scheduling routine maintenance with the county garage or other vehicle services provider.
  • Perform maintenance duties on agency facilities, including basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, and sheetrock repair.
  • Responsible for prioritizing and completing submitted work orders in a timely manner.
  • Perform monthly safety inspections of all facilities, documenting findings and recommendations for improvement.
  • Track expenditures for accounting compliance.
  • Provide 24/7 on-call emergency services as required.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written expression.
  • Knowledge and ability to perform minor automotive maintenance, repair, and inspections.
  • Knowledge and ability to perform daily healthcare facilities maintenance within regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, staff, and other agencies.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and complete tasks in a timely manner.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum HS Diploma with 3-5 years experience in general facility maintenance.
  • AS degree in a technical skills program, such as HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, or Industrial Maintenance.
  • Experience working in a healthcare environment a plus.
